Longwood Symphony Orchestra, the orchestra of Boston’s healthcare community, is pleased to announce its 44th concert season. Under the baton of Music Director Jotaro Nakano, LSO will perform four concerts at the New England Conservatory’s beautiful Jordan Hall.

2026-27 Community Partners
This year we are celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Healing Art of Music program. Since 1991, the LSO has used its mainstage concerts to help nonprofit community partners raise awareness and funds for important medical, wellness, and educational causes. Since the Healing Art of Music program was founded, the LSO has collaborated with more than 50 nonprofit organizations, helping them raise more than $2.8 million for Boston’s underserved populations.
