Longwood Symphony Orchestra is committed to performing community service while presenting concerts of musical excellence.

Every one of Longwood Symphony's concerts benefits a medically-related nonprofit organization in our community.

The musicians of the LSO, many of them health care professionals, represent eighteen of Boston's major medical institutions, as well as the teaching, business, and arts professions.  The orchestra performs four concerts annually in NEC's Jordan Hall, and plays a summer concert at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade.
