Shattuck Partners was established in 1987 to improve the lives of patients at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, an important public health hospital in Jamaica Plain. Shattuck Partners funds and provides arts, recreational, vocational and therapeutic support programming for these vulnerable men and women from our community, helping them in their quest for recovery, healing and hope.
Caron Treatment Centers is a nationally recognized non-profit provider of alcohol and drug addiction treatment. With nearly 6o years in the field, Caron is one of the oldest and largest drug and alcohol addiction treatment center organizations offering primary, relapse and longer-term treatment for adolescents, young adults, adults, boomers and older adults, as well as families affected by the disease of addiction.
Global Oncology’s mission is to bring the best cancer care to underserved patients around the world. GO collaborates across geographic, professional and academic boarders to improve cancer care, research and education. GO is a volunteer community of physicians, scientists, designers, engineers, public health experts, policy makers, nurses, lawyers, students, and other professionals working in teams to help people throughout the world who are treating cancer and its related pain.
EqualHealth works with clinicians across the career continuum from medical and nursing students, to practitioners, master educators, and the full population of providers and leaders in health care in Haiti. EqualHealth collaborates with medical professionals in Haiti to expand provider capacity, strengthen educational opportunities and in turn improve care and teaching in healthcare in Haiti.
